Michael & Teri Leigh Baird are the people of GladeWinds.

GladeWinds started as a business adventure with the popularity of the ideas of residential wind, solar and LED lighting.  Unfortunately, the time has not come for mass adoption of residential wind and solar.  Fortunately, you may today purchase good LED lighting at several home improvement stores and no longer need them to be special ordered for your application.  Now, when we look for an LED bulb, we like the Phillips brand.

Why “GladeWinds”?  Michael’s middle name is Glade and we are both very interested in our natural world.  We are very fortunate to have glades right here in Southwest Missouri.

Michael has been in the hearth industry since 1998 where he provides alternative fuel sources and all types of fireplaces and stoves.  Michael is with the Springfield outdoor living and hearth experts,  Maschino’s.
Michael is an outdoor enthusiast.  When time permits he loves to bike, hike, kayak and promote conservation.
